This 1936 RB-11 comes to us from the son of the original owner, both of whom played this banjo extensively. The original rim was cut by Snuffy Smith, who installed a Huber tone ring and set the banjo up. Over the years, the metal parts were gradually replaced with high quality replacements. The neck is the original 5-string neck, but the fingerboard was replaced by C.E. Ward. The resonator remains in original condition. Comes in a Calton case, as well as with the original Redline 5-string case.
