This Earl Scruggs Standard features a curly maple resonator and neck, bound ebony fingerboard, hearts-and-flowers inlay, inlays at the 1st and 15th frets, pre-war style peghead (also with hearts-and-flowers inlay), Gibson script logo, and more vintage-accurate hardware including the flange manufactured from the original 1930s die. Cosmetically the banjo shows very little play wear on the neck or resonator; there is some tarnishing on the arm rest and tailpiece. Frets are in great shape with only minor wear on the 2nd & 3rd fret. Has a Shubb 5th string capo installed. Comes in the original hardshell case.
