This is the second open back banjo we've had from Cedar Mountain Banjos of Brevard, NC, and both have been of fine quality and tone. This J 300 model features a 12" 3-ply walnut rim, cherry neck with 1 5/16" nut width (25.5" scale), rosewood fingerboard with straight scoop, rosewood headstock overlay with beautiful "Cardinal & Leaves" inlay, and Gotoh tuners. Cosmetically the hardware shows a bit of wear, but the instrument is in great shape overall. Comes in a hardshell case.
