1961 Epiphone FT110 Frontier
SOLD
Case: Hardshell case
Description:

This Epiphone Frontier is an excellent-sounding guitar with a thinner neck (but not too thin!). It has the classic "midrangey" sound associated with guitars of this era, but a surprising amount of bottom end as well thanks to the fixed saddle bridge. This '61 model Frontier features a spruce top, maple back & sides, bound fingerboard, slotted-block inlays, 25.5" scale, and a sunburst finish. These early Frontiers had the fixed saddle bridge as well as a simpler pickguard without the "rope and cactus" design found on later models. The finish, pickguard, bridge, and bridge plate are all original to the guitar (the screws were removed from the bridge). The tuners are replacements using the original footprint, and the finish was removed from the back of the neck. There is also a small area next to the pickguard where some pick wear was repaired. No cracks or breaks to note! Comes in a hardshell case.
