As a fan of Goldtop Les Pauls from the 1950's, I think this Eastman F-style mandolin is too cool for school! It features a solid, hand-carved spruce top with parallel bracing pattern, flamed solid mahogany back & sides, ivoriod top binding, ebony headstock overlay, 13 7/8" scale, 12" radiused ebony fingerboard, 1 3/32" nut, fitted ebony adjustable bridge, nickel cast tailpiece, nickel Schaller tuners, and a high-gloss nitrocellulose finish. This is an excellent instrument at its price-point, built with great materials (look at that mahogany!) and excellent fit and finish. Comes in a hardshell case.
