These old Recording King "Carson Robison" models make excellent candidates for x-brace conversions, but this guitar sounds so good ladder braced we decided to leave it as-is. It is in original condition, with three repaired cracks behind the bridge and a repaired pickguard crack. All have been evaluated and are stable. The "V" neck profile is very comfortable in your hands, and the top has remained in good shape. Tuners, pickguard, nut, frets, finish, bridge, and bridge plate are all original to the guitar.
