This 1956 Les Paul Special is one of the finest examples we’ve come across, brought to us by the son of the original owner after sitting under a bed for the last several decades. Everything about this guitar is original, including the TV Yellow finish, pickups, wiring harness (with Bumblebee caps), pickguard, poker chip, switch tip, pickguard/back plastic covers, and tuners. The solder joints are untouched, with the exception of a small touchup on the ground wire. It shows a bit of light finish checking and some minor dents and dings (mostly around the headstock), but overall this guitar is in excellent condition. Comes in the original alligator chipboard case.
