This SG Custom has had the same owner since the early 1970’s and features a mahogany body with “Walnut” finish, three-piece mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with block inlays, “Witch Hat” knobs, ebony headstock overlay with split diamond inlay and multi-ply binding, gold “Patent Number” humbuckers, gold Maestro Vibrola, gold ABR-1, batwing pickguard, & non-original gold Grover tuners. The guitar has had touch up to the solder joints, and the pickup covers have been off at some point, but all appear to be original to the instrument. The original frets are quite low, and the guitar would certainly benefit from a refret. Clocks in at a respectable 8.2 lb. Comes in the original hardshell case.
