Designed in collaboration with Mike Dowling, the National Mike Dowling Signature “El Trovador” is a single cone guitar patterned after the famous National El Trovador built between 1932 and 1933. It features a 4-inch deep, laminate mahogany body with a wooden sound well, mahogany neck with a large soft-V profile, ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, slotted headstock with rosewood overlay, ivoroid body & fingerboard bindings, 9.5" hand-spun single cone with maple biscuit bridge, and a satin poly finish. 1 3/4” nut width, 25.66” scale. The guitar was professionally refinished by National Guitars, which is totally indiscernible. Comes in the original hardshell case.
