The RB-00 model was in production from 1935 until the war, and was one of Gibson’s more budget friendly options at the time. It features a mutli-ply 11” rim (thin rim), unbound maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, maple veneer resonator with binding on bottom only, die-cast flange, single coordinator rod, hoop style stretcher band, nickel plated metal parts, Grover “window pane” tailpiece, and Grover “two tab” tuners (the friction peg was replaced with a geared tuner). The banjo in in good condition but does show signs of play wear over the last 90+ years; the headstock shows some wear around the edges, wear to the back of the neck and resonator, and some divots in the fingerboard. The frets show quite a bit of wear, but the banjo is in good playing condition. Comes in an older hardshell case.
