Handmade by Audey Ratliff in Church Hill, TN, the Ratliff “R-5” is clearly inspired by the golden age mandolins of the early 1920’s. It features a hand-carved spruce top with tone bars, figured maple back & sides, figured maple neck with “soft V” neck profile, flat ebony fingerboard (1 1/8” nut width), adjustable ebony bridge, and reverse gear tuners. Comes in a hardshell case.
