This ’62 SG is an excellent player, and would make a great #1 for someone! The items of note that put this guitar in the “player grade category” are the removal of the side-pull vibrola in favor of a stop tail, replacement pickups and wiring harness, replacement ABR-1 bridge, and replacement tuners. There are no breaks or cracks, but two small dowels were drilled into the neck/neck tenon after the neck likely came loose from the very petite heel. The finish (aside from the localized touch up from the removed vibrola and dowels), pickguard, poker chip, switch tip, and knobs, are all original to the guitar. Comes in a Gibson chainsaw case.
