2000 Flatiron F-5 Artist
SOLD
Case: Weber hardshell case
Description:

The "Artist" series mandolins from Flatiron were one of their top of the line models, and this 2000 Artist model was an early Flatiron produced at the Gibson factory in Nashville. These were discontinued a few years later, as they were so similar to Gibson's mandolin offerings. It features a Sitka spruce top with x-bracing, maple back, sides & neck, flat ebony fingerboard, adjustable ebony bridge, and gold hardware. The neck features a pronounced V profile with a 1 5/64" width at the nut (1.071"). Cosmetically the mandolin is in very nice condition, with minimal fret wear. Comes in a Weber-branded hardshell case.
