Lowe Vintage is pleased to be a dealer for Northfield Mandolins! This barely used F5S features an Adirondack top, maple back, sides & neck, traditional sunburst with Ivoroid binding, the standard 1 1/8" nut width, and a satin nitrocellulose finish. The only signs of wear would be a small chip on the back from a tone guard (where the binding would be, if it had any), and a small chip on the top of the headstock near the point. Overall still in excellent condition. Comes in a slate gray Airloom "Recurve" Case. Demo below!

The elegantly understated S Series mandolins from Northfield use the same select tone woods and are built by the same team as their varnish models. The lacquer finish on these instruments is made to be stronger than the more delicate spirit varnish, yet still be very thin as to not inhibit vibration and dampen the liveliness of the instrument.
