This Martin D-28 is a fantastic player, with a dry, balanced voice that makes for an excellent flatpicker. It features a Sitka spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back & sides, ebony bridge & fingerboard, and original “waffle back” Kluson tuners. The finish, pickguard, and bridge plate are also original to the guitar; the bridge is a repro. The original finish was buffed a bit by the previous owner to get off years of dirt and grime. The guitar itself has received a neck set and refret, and is still showing an ideal saddle height with “low medium” action and 13’s (4/32 & 3.5/32nd). The top and back show signs of play wear, particularly some pick wear around the pickguard and buckle rash on the back, and there is a plugged hole from a previous strap button on the neck heel. Comes in the original green-lined hardshell case. Check out the demo video below!
