Jackson Cunningham is a builder from Grayson County, VA, known for his wonderful interpretations of Gibson's golden era instruments (if you haven't seen his Loar-inspired archtops, check them out!). This J-35 model is an excellent instrument, and one of the most vintage accurate J-35 builds you'll find. It features an Adirondack top, mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck with the later rounded profile, rosewood bridge and fingerboard, and open gear tuners. The bridge even features vintage-accurate bolts under the pearl dots! This particular guitar sports the un-scalloped three tone bar bracing pattern, imparting the midrange forward tone you'd expect from a good Gibson jumbo with a bit of extra sparkle on the top end. Cosmetically the guitar shows a bit of minor play wear, and finish checking in the thin lacquer finish. Comes in a hardshell case.
