Introduced in 1947, the L-12 Premier was the cutaway version of the L-12 and features a 17" body, triple-bound carved Sitka spruce top with parallel top bracing, carved maple back & sides with single binding, maple neck with walnut center stripe, rosewood fingerboard with double parallelogram inlays, bound headstock with crown inlay, and open-gear tuners with Keystone buttons. The guitar is in fantastic cosmetic condition, with very little play wear for an instrument its age. The back center seam opened up very slightly around the end block at some point in the past (roughly 3" in length); it appears that it had some glue applied and is solid. There are no other previous repairs or breaks! Comes in the original brown Gibson-badged hardshell case.
