1962 Gibson J-50
SOLD
Case: Hardshell case
Description:

This J-50 is a great sounding example with a bottom end that exceeds expectations, and would make an excellent guitar for recording or vocal accompaniment. The J-50 was the natural finish version of the J-45 and featured a spruce top over mahogany back & sides, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood bridge & fingerboard. The guitar itself is free from any previous cracks or repairs (the mark on the top's treble side lower bout is a scratch; there is another similar scratch on the side). Cosmetically it is in very nice overall condition save for the aforementioned scratches and some pick marks/play wear on the top. It had six frets replaced and the rest dressed, and is now in fantastic playing shape. The nut width measures at 1 11/16" and the neck itself is somewhat shallow and even-tapered, making it very comfortable for smaller hands. Comes in a older hardshell case.
