Case: Old hardshell case
Description:

New price! It’s no secret that we’re big fans of the Gibson J-35, but some just seem stand out from the rest of the pack. It can be easy to fall into cliches when describing a guitar, but this two tone bar J-35 is truly a warm, focused jumbo with exceptional playability that is well-suited to a wide range of playing styles. The finish, tuners, and pickguard are all original to the guitar…the bridge, bridge plate, & nut are well-made repros. The original nut would have been ebony, so the replacement bone nut was painted black to retain the proper look. Some of that black paint has chipped away (most likely from capo use), but could easily be touched up. The guitar also received an excellent refret, imparting excellent playability across the fingerboard. As far as previous repairs, there are five top cracks and two back cracks that were properly addressed and are structurally sound. We’ve already had the pleasure of selling this guitar once in the past, and it has done nothing but continue to get better with play time…check out the demo video below!
