This '63 D-28 is a great player from the North St. factory days! It retains the original bridge, bridge plate, pickguard, and tuners, and just came back from a full refret. The main repair is the long crack on the bass side of the top- the top was not completely oversprayed, but rather partially touched-up in that area. Whoever did the repair put some wood putty in there to reinforce that area. The rest of the finish is original, and it plays well with “medium high”/bluegrass action. Comes in a period hardshell case. Check out the demo video below!
