1938 Martin 000-21
Case: Old hardshell case

New price! My This '38 000-21 is a fine-sounding guitar that features rear-shifted bracing and quite a bit of character! The top has been oversprayed and the back & sides have been refinished. The bridge is a well-made replacement, but the bridge plate is original that has been repaired. There are several repaired top cracks, and one below the bridge appears to have had some wood spliced in. Both of the longer cracks below the bridge have been cleated, and there is evidence at the end pin that the guitar had a tailpiece at some point. The neck was reset and refretted previously. The pickguard is the original, and the tuners were swapped for newer Waverly open-geared tuners. 1 3/4" nut width. Comes in an older hardshell case. On consignment.
